Step 1 

Customer (Store Owner) has to appoint an Approved CCTV Contractor > CCTV Contractor to prepare the below documents in coordination with the customer:

  1.    Contract / Authorization letter between owner & contractor
  2.    Scope of work
  3.   Contact information for contractor & client
  4.   Contractor CR copy
  5.   Bill of quantity for CCTV cameras
  6.   Control room & equipment room design drawing (Shall be cad format)
  7.   CCTV design site plan (Shall be cad format)
  8.   CCTV design layouts (Shall be cad format)
  9.   Typical CCTV camera installation / mounting details (Shall be cad format)
  10.   Riser diagram (schematic diagram for CCTV system) (Shall be cad format)
  11.   As built drawing, if any
  12.   Project timeline,
  13.   Service level agreement (SLA).

Step 2

Once all these documents are ready the CCTV Contractor shall upload it to the MOISSD portal for initial Drawing Approval (DSA).

Step 3

SSD Comments or Approval shall be recieved through the portal, make necessary changes and re-upload or commence the work if initial documents are approved. If rejected, CCTV contractor sends additional quote for items mentioned in the rejected comments in DSA to the client for approval. Once approved CCTV contractor to re-upload the documents in the portal.

Step4

Once the work is completed as per the MOI Regulations and Design Approval recieved for this project, contractor shall raise an Inspection Request (IR) through the SSD Portal for the MOI SSD Inspection team will confirm a Inspection Date and time prior to one day (Few hours) before inspection.

Step 5

Inspection Team will inspect the entire project, if it’s done as per the MOI SSD regulations and has followed all the points mentioned in the Design approval documents. If any variance is found they will reject the inspection and the contractor will have to fix the issues mentioned and raise inspection again for approval. If it is Approved with comments, the Contractor can fix the slags as per the Inspection team’s remarks and update them later. No need for another inspection.

Step 6

MOI SSD Approval will be recieved to the CCTV Contractor through the SSD Portal and the contractor will forward it to the client.

Step 7

Client has to maintain the CCTV systems everyday with a logbook, after 1 year of the approval the client has to renew the AMC/SLA for the CCTV and SSD Inspection team will visit again for Inspection Approval. If they find any variance in the maintenance they will reject or approve it with comments. Then the same contractor can get the renewed MOI Approval certificate for this project from the SSD Portal.
