- Acousto-magnetic

The tag used in these systems is similar to the electromagnetic system, but they don’t use magnetic responses. Instead, tonal bursts are emitted from the detector to make the tags vibrate at certain frequencies.
- Microwave
The microwave systems are also popular EAS anti-theftsystems. They couple a diode with an electrostatic and a microwave antenna.
A low-frequency field is established by the electrostatic antenna, while the microwave antenna establishes a microwave field.
The tags create a unique signal using these fields, and the detector reads these signals.
It is the most expensive system of all the anti-theft systems!
